Icon-bfighterThis article is about a monster in Big Bad Beetleborgs.

Swamp Scumoid was a dark green Gillman-resembling monster with the most horrid odor.

In "Something Fishy," Vexor summoned Swamp Scumoid to impersonate Charterville's urban legend called Charterville Charlie.

The Beetleborgs were at first hesitant to kill it, thinking this creature was a real scientific discovery. Vexor had released him before the comic was made available to the public though Jara, Noxic, and Typhus didn't know it. However, the monster took Trip hostage by knocking him out with his odor, holding him until he managed to escape. He later took Mums hostage in the catacombs below Hillhurst.

Roland quickly discovered the latest issue of the comics & learned that this fishman was not the actual Charterville Charlie after all, but the Swamp Scumoid. After Mums was rescued, the smelly fish was zapped with the Sonic Lasers & sent back into the comics.

Trivia[]

  • Swamp Scumoid never appeared in Juukou B-Fighter. The waterproof "Gillman" style suit was created for this episode while parts of the head were taken from the title monster of the film Kraa! the Sea Monster. The suit later appeared in theme parks & an episode of The Drew Carey Show. The company which built this costume is known as Total Fabrications (owned by famed creature maker Kenneth J. Hall) & features a picture of Charterville Charlie on their website with the subtitle "waterproof creature suit made for Big Bad Beetleborgs".
