Shirou Akebono is Battle Kenya, a Ranger in the Super Sentai series, Battle Fever J. He is one of two of Kenji Ohba's major Sentai roles, followed by Daigorou Oume (DenziBlue). They both appeared in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger vs. Space Sheriff Gavan.

Portrayal
As he did with Daigoro Oume in 199 Hero Great Battle, Kenji Ohba (大葉 健二 Ōba Kenji?) reprises his role as Shiro Akebono as well as Daigoro and Retsu Ichijouji from Uchuu Keiji Gavan at the same time in Gokaiger vs. Gavan. He previously reprised his role as Shirou Akebono in the Gokaiger Christmas episode, A Lovely Christmas Eve.
