Mums is a 5,000 year-old Egyptian mummy that lives at Hillhurst Mansion.
He can unwrap his bandages to reveal a "Grim Reaper"-like form. He only did this in the first episode. Later instances where he is unwrapped only show a skeleton that falls apart.
He has 703 brothers and sisters. In one episode, two archaeologists came to return Mums to the crypt in which they found him in order to get rid of a curse placed on them.
History[]
When he was still alive in ancient Egypt, he kissed Cleopatra, which caused him to be mummified alive and cursed with immortality. In this case, it means he was simply wrapped in bandages and shut inside a pyramid. During modern times, he was released by two archeologists and managed to find his way to Hillhurst, where he spends the rest of his undead days.
His undead life went along quietly, until he was disturbed by three children, namely Drew, Jo and Roland, snooping around Hillhurst. To scare them away, he unwraps himself to reveals his true form and chases the children with Frankenbeans. When the children freed Flabber, who subsequently turned them into Beetleborgs, Mums life would never be the same again. As Flabber accidentally freed the Magnavores, Hillhurst would be a frequent target of the dastardly trio, robbing Mums from his peaceful and quiet unlife.
Personality[]
Mums is shown to be very egocentric and grumpy. He only cares for himself and becomes very annoyed when people disturb his rest. His selfishness goes so far, that he is willing to endanger the world for his own desires. At first, he makes frequent attempts to eat the Beetleborg children, who are the only ones able to defeat the Magnavores and later Crustaceans. Later, he even strikes up a deal with the Crustaceans, giving them the Astral Sword in return for them leaving Hillhurst alone. It does not occur to him that doing so would endanger the entire world, including Hillhurst.
Despite his negative tendencies, Mums is still able to show kindness once in a while. This is evident when he allowed Wolfgang to stay in Hillhurst.
